Our 4m wide premier Portland marquees are significantly stronger than the industry standard, as well as our own party tent and luxury ranges. This is due to the incorporation of several features commonly found in 6m wide structures:
- Vertical and horizontal roof braces: These braces add substantial strength to the roof.
- Intermediate purlins along each side: Positioned halfway down each side of the roof, these purlins provide additional structural support and reinforce the roof.
- Wind-resistant 2m end panels: These are discussed in detail in a separate article.
- Envelope-style roof: Also covered in a separate article.
- Groundbars: Included as a standard feature for added stability.
- Gable uprights at both ends: These allow for interchangeable side panels, increasing versatility.
- Durable materials: All roofs and side panels are made from high-quality, 500gsm rip-stop PVC.
The triangular shape, known for its structural strength, is reinforced by the additional roof braces, creating a strong, durable frame for the marquee.
