The 6x12m Portland Premier range of green marquees has raised the bar with it’s fire retardant 500g/m² PVC roof & side walls and strong, durable galvanised steel framework. This marquee includes features and specifications others wont offer.
Features include ground-bars & roof braces for added strength, eaves braves to prevent water-pooling, a true interchangeable side panel system, gable uprights for added wind-resistance and a high-frequency welded envelope style roof.
Our green Premier marquees improve upon the successful design of our Luxury range but with heavier-weight material and a stronger, more flexible design. It is the marquee of choice for many hire companies or simply those wishing to buy a heavier duty marquee than available elsewhere.
Capacity
How many people can you fit in a 6x12m marquee?
A 6x12m marquee can fit up to 80 people seated or 120 people standing. Marquee seated capacity is calculated by using 5ft 6in round tables as is common in the marquee hire industry. This is the most efficient way to seat your guests to maximise space. Each 3x3m section of the marquee can fit 10 people at a 5ft 6in round table.
Standing capacity is calculated at 1.5X the seated capacity giving guests just under 1m square for dancing and space to move around.

Cover material
Our marquee covers use rip-stop technology making them tear resistant and long-life. There are many types of marquee PVC but we make sure only to use high-quality Duracoretex™ material. Covers are 100% waterproof with high-frequency welded seams, fire retardant to to BS5438 & BS7837 and UV stabilised.
Unlike other manufacturers we design our marquees with the gable triangle incorporated into the rest of the roof. This makes the end of the marquee more wind-resistant as it reduces the size of the end panel and therefore billowing in windy conditions.

Framework
Using galvanised steel poles mean that the framework is protected from corrosion and rust. Unlike powder coated frames a scratch or chip does not fundamentally compromise the coating. Whereas powder coated frames allow water to spread beneath the rest of the surface.
Galvanised steel is also easier to repair and maintain. If the framework becomes dull after a few years it can easily be refreshed with a galvanising spray.

Delivery
We will contact you within 1 working day (usually immediately) to confirm the delivery day (usually 2-3 working days). If you have any preference on delivery day please let us know and we will happily arrange delivery accordingly.
Your marquee will arrive either on a pallet or in a van. Drivers are always requested to call 1 hour ahead of delivery.

Spare Parts
Spare parts are stocked for all of our marquees. Parts can be purchased and delivered usually within 2-3 working days. It is important to be able to maintain your marquee and repair it in case it becomes damaged. Any part including connectors, poles, braces, walls and even the roof can be replaced.
PVC can also be repaired using a high strength vinyl cement. We can supply the vinyl cement with pre-cut patches to repair the PVC.
